The most desirable quality in a person is playfulness. This isn’t because of the nature of playfulness itself but because of what you have to be in order to be playful.
In order to be playful you have to be fully present. There has to be an absence of ‘story’, an absence of the future and the past. There has to be a full here-now awareness that is clean and clear. This is the only thing that makes playfulness possible.
Playfulness is ease, lightness, spontaneity and responsiveness.
Playfulness is silly, as well as serious (nothing is more serious than play).
Playfulness has no expectations, no demands. It is never clinging on or demanding more. It trusts in abundance. It trusts life.
